Z GRILLED CARNE ASADA

Ingredients

  • 700 to 900 grams of skirt steak
  • 60 ml lemon juice
  • 3 cloves of finely chopped garlic
  • 4 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of coriander
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons of ground cumin
  • A pinch of salt

How to prepare?

1. Use a fork to puncture holes in the skirt steak, on both sides.

2. Mix the lime juice, brown sugar, coriander, olive oil, chili powder, garlic, cumin and salt in a bowl.

3. Place the skirt steak in a large resealable plastic bag.

4. Pour the marinade over the skirt steak.

5. Zip the bag and shake to cover the skirt steak on all sides with the marinade.

6. Leave the skirt steak at room temperature for a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum of 8 hours.

7. Preheat the Z GRILLS to 190 degrees.

8. Grill the skirt steaks 7 to 10 minutes on each side for a saignant baking.

9. Remove the skirt steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
