FIRE SPICED SHRIMP

Ingredients

  • 450 gram extra large shrimps, raw
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon of chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of paprika powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • a pinch of salt

How to prepare?

1. Preheat the Z GRILLS on HIGH.

2. While the grill is preheating, remove the shrimp shells and leave the heads.

3. Butterfly the shrimp. Use your knife to cut each shrimp in half, from the head to the tail.

4. Remove the vein, rinse the shrimps and dry them lightly with paper towels.

5. Place the shrimps in a large bowl, sprinkle with all the herbs and oil.

6. Mix together and ensure that the mixture evenly covers each shrimp.

7. Prick the shrimp on a skewer, from the head to the tail.

Wrap the skewers in aluminium foil if you use wooden skewers.

8. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until the shells turn pink and the shrimps are opaque.

9. Serve with sauce or spice of your choice.
